The conventional manual loading system has multiple options for technical adaptation to specific storage requirements for very specific goods. In this case, the surfaces of the load levels are dispensed with entirely to support the products directly on each pair of bars at the same level.

Tyre stocks are much more efficient when positioned vertically with two points of support on the front and rear bars; in this way, the load is more compact if the heights of the levels are correctly distributed. The goods can also be positioned horizontally on any of the different optional surfaces in the range of the generic programme but, in this specific case, besides being more expensive, space is wasted and access to the product units located at the base of each pile is more difficult because those stacked above have to be moved.

The applications of this type of shelf are very specific because it is designed for companies that handle large stocks of tyres of different types and sizes.

The system can be structured to fit exactly to the formats used, adapting the width and height of the structures, the separation of the levels and the length of the bars; furthermore, the linear modules must be arranged in double-body configurations. These dimensions maximize load capacity and the total number of references stored.

Apart from the aforementioned products, this solution is valid for goods of similar formats, such as wheel-trims and coils or rolls of different materials, etc.

In warehouses that need to take advantage of the height of the premises, tyres shelves are normally configured with several levels. The upper levels are accessed by ladders connecting the different levels. Practical storage bays can also be used for forklift trucks by means of access doors on the safety rails.

When the tyres are positioned vertically and in order, each reference is controlled individually to enable productive and organized stock management.

As with all medium load solutions, it is possible to combine tyre shelf alignments or bodies in the same installation with ordinary shelves for the generic storage of any product of moderate weight and manual management.
